Key Responsibilities

As the General Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality surgical care across elective and emergency cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up for all surgical patients.

• Collaborating with anaesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure smooth and safe surgical operations.
• Managing ward patients, ICU cases where surgical input is required, and trauma presentations as appropriate.
• Providing emergency surgical consultation and operating on urgent cases during on-call duties.
• Maintaining accurate case records, operation notes, and clinical documentation as per hospital standards.
• Mentoring junior doctors or resident staff in surgical techniques and clinical decision-making, if applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• MBBS + MS General Surgery or DNB General Surgery from a recognised medical institution registered with MCI / NMC.
• Valid registration with the Rajasthan Medical Council or eligibility for the same.
• Minimum 1 year of post-MS surgical experience preferred; however, freshers with strong surgical skills from reputed institutions are also welcome to apply.
• Competency in laparoscopic surgical procedures is highly desirable — particularly laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repair.
• Sound clinical judgement and ability to manage both elective and emergency surgical cases independently.
• Good communication skills in Hindi; English proficiency is an added advantage for documentation and academic interaction.
