📋 Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties

The selected ICU RMO doctor in Mumbai will handle day-to-day management of critical patients. Essential duties include:

  • Conducting thorough morning and evening clinical rounds, documenting progress notes, and evaluating patient recovery parameters.
  • Managing mechanical ventilation settings, oxygen therapy, invasive lines, and vasoactive drug infusions.
  • Performing life-saving procedures like endotracheal intubations, central line placements, arterial line insertions, and chest tube monitoring.
  • Leading or assisting in emergency resuscitations (Code Blue) following standard ACLS and BLS guidelines.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with senior consultants, surgeons, and specialists during specialized clinical evaluations.
  • Communicating daily health status update reports clearly and empathetically to patients' family members and primary caregivers.
  • Ensuring meticulous clinical documentation, discharge summaries, and handover reports at shift changes.

  • Procedural Mastery: Practical exposure to airway management, central lines, arterial sampling, and emergency defibrillation.
  • Patient Care & Monitoring: High proficiency in reading bedside monitors, ECGs, ABG analysis, and lab investigations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, empathetic counseling skills, team collaboration, and crisis leadership skills.

🎓 Qualification & Registration

  • Educational Degree: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized medical institution in India or abroad.
  • Medical Registration: Valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) or the National Medical Commission (NMC / Erstwhile MCI).
  • Certifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are highly preferred.

⏱️ Experience Level

  • Experience: 0 to 5 years of post-internship clinical experience in Intensive Care Units, Emergency Medicine, or Critical Care setups.
  • Fresh MBBS graduates with active interest and intensive training during internship in critical care setups are also encouraged to apply.
